Our Team

St George's staff are the backbone of the school; supporting, educating and inspiring our students every day.

Highly qualified, motivated and passionate, our teachers ignite the spark of learning, nurturing it with wisdom and care. Beyond academics, our staff are mentors and role models, leading by example and seeing the potential in every student.

At the head of St George's is our Principal, Zeba Clarke, who works with the Executive Team, including the Headteachers of Primary and Secondary, the Finance and Administration Manager and the Head of HR.

St George's has an active Board of Governors with oversight for the strategic direction of the school. Our Governors act as a ‘critical friend’ offering support, constructive advice, a sounding board for ideas, a second opinion on proposals and help where needed. The Executive and Board work closely together on our fundamental vision of ensuring that St George's is a school which inspires and encourages its students and staff in a welcoming, safe environment.

Recognise a Member of Staff

St George’s International School's Staff Recognition Scheme is a way of formally recognising staff for their contribution to students and the wider school community. Nominated staff receive a letter from a member of the Executive Team, and their work is shared with the Board of Governors.

It is always a pleasure when parents and students write to us to thank staff for their contribution or hard work. We greatly value our partnerships with parents and working together to achieve the best for our students.

Members of staff or teams may qualify for a recognition reward if one or more of the following criteria are met:

Being Inspiring
Inspiring others to be the best they can be. Encouraging others to achieve the best for themselves and the school.
Creativity
Challenging existing methods and processes and developing improvements to enhance the learning environment.
Leadership
Encourage and motivate staff/students, promoting a positive attitude and atmosphere and influencing others by their example.
Professionalism
Provides the highest standard of professional ethics while understanding the needs and enriching the student experience either directly or indirectly.
Responsiveness
Innovative, approachable, friendly and willing to share ideas and readily acting to suggestions. Committed and inspiring to both students and other staff.
